About The Morning Oil Coffee Company Team

Almost 70% of the world wakes up knowing they've got a hard day ahead. The heavy lifting, the weather, the deadlines, the problems only a calloused hand can solve. Before any of that starts, there's one ritual that comes first: brewing a pot of coffee. That's the oil that gets the machine running. The fuel that gets a person moving before the sun even asks them to.
Phil Rogacki understands that better than most. He's lived it. Born in Ohio into a long line of tradesmen, concrete, masonry, carpentry, electrical, Phil grew up watching his father, grandfather, and uncles build this country with their hands. For Phil, the trades were never just a job. They were a legacy passed down like a tool you don't put back until the work is done.
Dennis Dumas came up the same way, in the trenches, not the classroom. Climbing through attics and pulling wire before he was old enough to drive. In Dennis's family, the job site was the university, and the real education came from the calloused hands of his father, grandfather, and uncles, generations of builders and electricians who believed hard work doesn't just open doors, it kicks them down.
When Phil and Dennis met, it didn't take long to realize they were carrying the same fire. Two tradesmen, two different paths, one shared conviction: this country needed something that fought for the people who build it, not just talked about them.
That's how Morning Oil was born, one cup at a time, one conversation at a time, built by two men who never stopped believing the trades deserved better. Today, Phil and Dennis are building Morning Oil together, fueling hardworking men and women through their day, and funding the next generation ready to pick up the tools and carry this country forward.
We fuel the trades. Fund the workforce. Fortify the future.
Phil Rogacki grew up in Ohio in a family where everyone wore work boots. Laying concrete, framing houses, wiring buildings, that was just life. In his world, you didn't hire help, you were the help. He carried that grit into everything he built after, starting his own concrete company and going on to run some of the fastest growing tree care companies in America.
Phil didn't stop at building businesses. He founded Academy Trained, a tree care training company committed to raising the standard for climbers entering the arborist trade, and co-hosts a tree care podcast dedicated to the craft, the culture, and the people who make their living in the canopy. Between the businesses, the training company, and the podcast, Phil has spent his whole career trying to prove one thing: the trades aren't a fallback, they're one of the best paths this country has to offer.
Today, alongside his wife, Lisbeth, and their daughter, Remi Rose, Phil is more committed than ever to honoring the trades that raised him and building a real pathway for the next generation to walk the same road.
Dennis Dumas built his work ethic on the job site, not in a classroom. Climbing through attics and pulling wire by seven years old. Digging ditches and laying pipe by his teens. In Dennis's family, the job site was the university, and the real education came from the calloused hands of his father, grandfather, and uncles, generations of builders and electricians who believed hard work doesn't just open doors, it kicks them down.
Dennis brings a background in electrical work and fire mitigation, real hands on trade experience that shaped how he sees the world and the people who build it. He went on to build businesses of his own, employing people across multiple industries and earning recognition along the way, including Small Business of the Year, Philanthropic Business of the Year, and Congressional Recognition for Community Giving. Dennis has spent his career proving that real success starts on the ground, with calloused hands and a willingness to outwork everyone else in the room.
Dennis believes this country owes the trades more respect, more investment, and more opportunity for the next generation coming up behind them, a belief that drives everything he builds today.
