The New Boots Project, or NBP, exists to rebuild America’s workforce by rebuilding the pathway to it. We are America’s first centralized, agnostic platform built to serve all trades and all vetted trade schools. We are inclusive by design and focused on access, opportunity, and real careers that last.
NBP connects people from every background to high-paying, skilled-trade careers. Using AI-powered matching and real human guidance, we help students find the right school or apprenticeship, and we help schools connect, collaborate, and grow stronger together.
Through one simple application, applicants share their goals and background. Our system instantly matches them to trade schools and programs that fit. From there, our team helps set up interviews and provides hands-on support every step of the way.
At the same time, trade schools and workforce programs gain a shared national space to exchange ideas, share resources, collaborate on funding opportunities, and strengthen the skilled-trade ecosystem as a whole.

1. The Trade School Alliance™
The Trade School Alliance™ is a national connection and information engine that links trade schools, apprenticeship programs, unions, and employers into one trusted network. It helps students discover the right training path based on location, skill level, and career goals, while providing up-to-date information on openings, certifications, scholarships, and hiring pipelines. It also highlights real stories from real tradespeople and builds pride in skilled labor across the country.
2. Direct student support
NBP invests in the next generation of American tradespeople through scholarships for tuition, certifications, and tools. We provide one-on-one mentorship, career guidance, and school matching. We award new boots to students who need them most and recognize top graduates through our New Boots Awards. We focus on opening pathways for underserved communities and returning citizens, because every student deserves a fresh start. Sometimes, that fresh start begins with a new pair of boots.
